The international singer is part of a campaign by the high-end American fashion retail store.
As part of its fall campaign entitled L.A. Stories, Barneys New York has collaborated with iconic fashion photographer Bruce Weber to come up with a spread featuring 76 people who are either from or living in Los Angeles.
Among those people is Malaysian singer-songwriter Yuna Zarai, who moved to LA a few years back to work on her career. She is currently signed to Verve Records, a company headed by award-winning producer/musician David Foster.
The campaign, which is part of Barneys New York’s efforts to promote its outlets in the West Coast, also features businessfolk, artists, models, celebrities, indie darlings, dancers, a pizza delivery guy, students and more.
Weber was also responsible for Barneys New York’s black-and-white Spring 2014 ad campaign called Brothers, Sisters, Sons & Daughters.MYNEWSHUB/The Star
