Hollywood superstar Will Smith was seen out and about in Mid Valley Megamall earlier today, which started an instant frenzy among his star-struck Malaysians fans present nearby the area.
Clad in a simple dark T-shirt and faded denim trousers, Smith was seen shaking hands and greeting his fans in an impromptu meet-and-greet session as he leaves the iflix offices, prompting a speculation that the I Am Legend star is in town for a possible collaboration with the free movie-streaming service provider.
However, iflix’s spokesperson could not be reached out for comment and remained mum on the rumour.
Several photos of Smith in the city began circulating on the Internet this afternoon. In one of the pictures, he’s seen walking with his business partner James Lassiter, iflix group CEO Mark Britt, as well as iflix chairman, Catcha Group co-founder and group CEO Patrick Grove.
Coincidentally, Smith’s former musical partner DJ Jazzy Jeff is also in Kuala Lumpur, for the official launch of Prime Touch Luxury club yesterday.
Back in the late 1980s up to the mid 1990s, the rap and hip-hop duo were the Grammy-winning act known as DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince.
Smith is said to be leaving Malaysia later today.
