Big Bang member Taeyang’s first solo concert in Kuala Lumpur on Feb. 7 went on without a glitch despite the controversy surrounding the B1A4 fan meeting last month that led to calls for postponement and cancellation of concerts in the country.
The singer held his “2015 Taeyang World Tour: Rise in Malaysia†at Stadium Negara in Kuala Lumpur.
Show organizers told Taeyang and his entourage to strictly follow rules based on guidelines set by the Malaysian government, and that was what he happily obliged to.
Putting both his hands behind his back, Taeyang strategically attempted very hard to avoid making physical contact with his predominantly-female fans.
Post-concert, one of his legions of fans tweeted what she overheard during Taeyang’s conversation with a fan. “I want to hug you but I’m not allowed to touch you,” said the singer.
Controversy erupted last month when popular boy band B1A4 was caught on video kissing and hugging three tudong-clad Malaysian girls during a meet-and-greet.
Authorities launched an investigation and threatened to arrest the three girls if they did not come forward to cooperate in the probe.-MYNEWSHUB.CC
