KUALA LUMPUR – A vehicle believed to be carrying Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, the wife of former prime minister Datuk Seri Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak was seen driving out of their residence at Langgak Duta here at 10.16 am today.
The Mercedes escorted by three other vehicles were believed to be headed to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC)’s office in Putrajaya where Rosmah is expected to give her statement related to an investigation into SRC International Sdn Bhd.
Yesterday, MACC deputy chief commissioner (Operations) Datuk Seri Azam Baki said the agency would be taking and recording Rosmah’s statement to facilitate the investigation.
In this regard, MACC had issued a notice for Rosmah to present herself at its office today, he disclosed.
SRC International was a subsidiary of 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) prior to being placed under the Finance Ministry in 2012.
Meanwhile, more than 10 media practitioners began gathering at the entrance to the path leading to the residence as early as 8 am. – BERNAMA
