BAHAU – Two teenage boys were killed when the motorcycle they were riding on collided with a car in Jalan Besar Rompin-Bahau, near here, last night.
Jempol district police chief, Supt Hamzah Alias, said the incident occurred at about 10.30 pm.
He said the victims, Muhammad Adzeem Mohd Daud, 13, from Taman Desa Puteri and Mohamad Farhan Abdullah, 19, from Taman Bahau, here, both suffered severe head and body injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene.
“The accident occurred when the teen riding the motorcycle, with his friend riding pillion, to Bahau lost control of the machine and went into the opposite lane before colliding with a car,” he said when contacted by Bernama here today.
The bodies were taken to Hospital Jempol for post-mortem. The driver of the car did not suffer any injury. – BERNAMA
