BUKIT MERTAJAM – The body of two Myanmar men were found some 10m apart in an oil palm plantation in Jalan Kampung Manggis, Permatang Tinggi in Bukit Mertajam here.
A villager stumbled upon the bodies and immediately contacted the police at about 8.50am Monday.
State CID chief Senior Asst Comm Mazlan Kesah said both victims were in their 30s, had several stab wounds on their bodies as well as scratches on their faces.
â€œWe believe they were killed and then dumped here.
â€œOne of the victims had his working permit on him,â€ he said.
He urged the public who has information on the deaths of the two men to approach the nearest police station. – The Star
