KUALA LUMPUR – Two high-powered motorcycle riders were killed, one was seriously injured while a motorist escaped unhurt in an accident on the Karak Highway near here at 11am today.
It is learnt that the three superbikes had collided with a car at KM25km of the highway.
City Fire and Rescue Department Senior Assistant Superintendent Ahmad Aidil Ab Majid said the department received a call on the incident at 11.22am and a team arrived at the scene five minutes later.
“We found two motorcyclists killed – one was charred by a burning motorcycle while the other was found sprawled on the road unconscious, and later died, believed to have been hit by another vehicle and a third was seriously hurt.
He said the injured motorcyclist and the bodies were sent to the Selayang Hospital. – Bernama
