KOTA KINABALU – Two foreign men died when the car they were travelling in collided with a four-wheel drive in Jalan Kolam near Bukit Padang traffic light, here today.
Kota Kinabalu acting police chief Supt George Abd Rakman said in the incident at about 4.30am, one victim was killed on the spot while another died in Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
“The two men in the 20’s and 30’s died when the Perodua Bezza they were in collided with a Toyota Hilux while the driver of the four-wheel drive sustained light injuries,” he said in a statement.
He said preliminary investigations found the four-wheel drive from Kota Kinabalu was heading towards Beverly Hill when the two vehicles collided at the accident location.
George said both drivers were not suspected to be drunk and the weather was fair.
