Traffic Slow Going North, South Thursday Morning

KUALA LUMPUR – Traffic was reported to have been moving slowly along several stretches of the North-South Expressway up to 10.30 am today, a situation similar to last night’s.

A spokesman of the Malaysian Highway Authority (MHA) said traffic was slow between Bukit Lanjan and Bukit Beruntung; Slim River and Sungkai; Tapah and Gopeng and Ipoh and the Menora Tunnel.

“In the south, traffic was slow between the Kempas Toll and Skudai; Senai Utara and Kulai Jaya; Sedenak and Simpang Rengam; Machap and Ayer Itam/Yong Peng and Putera Mahkota and Port Dickson.

“Traffic was also slow between the Gombak Toll and Km33 on the Kuala Lumpur-Karak Highway,” he told Bernama.

A spokesman for PLUS also reported similar traffic movement.
