KUALA LUMPUR – PKR vice-president Chua Tian Chang, better known as Tian Chua, who was arrested to assist in the investigation into an alleged illegal gathering here on March 7, was released today on the order of the court, said his lawyer R. Sivarasa.
He said Tian Chua was released at 12.25 pm from the Jinjang central lock-up after having his statement recorded.
“I am not sure whether my client will be charged in court…should ask the authorities,” he told Bernama here today.
Meanwhile, Kuala Lumpur CID chief SAC Zainuddin Ahmad confirmed that Tian Chua has been released. – BERNAMA
