PUTRAJAYA – His Excellency General Prayut Chan-o-cha, Prime Minister of Thailand will be undertaking an Official Visit to Malaysia on 1 December 2014.
This will be the first visit by His Excellency General Prayut to Malaysia after being appointed as the Prime Minister of Thailand on 25 August 2014. The purpose of the visit is to build rapport with YAB Prime Minister and take stock of the progress of the existing bilateral relations between the two countries.
His Excellency General Prayut will be accompanied by a 19-member delegation comprising Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, Deputy Minister of Defence and Commander-in-Chief of the Army, Deputy Minister of Transport and other senior officials.
During the visit, His Excellency General Prayut is scheduled to hold a restricted meeting followed by a delegation meeting with YAB Datoâ€™ Sri Mohd Najib Tun Abd Razak, Prime Minister of Malaysia. YAB Datoâ€™ Sri Mohd Najib Tun Abd Razak and YABhg. Datin Sri Rosmah Mansor will host an official luncheon in honour of His Excellency General Prayut and the Thai delegation.
The visit will provide the opportunity for both sides to explore ways to further strengthen the existing cooperation between the two countries in various areas such as the Southern Thailand peace dialogue process, trade and investment,
