KUALA TERENGGANU – Terengganu UMNO will be implementing a simulation to test the preparation of the party’s machinery in facing the 14th General Election (GE14), on April 14.
Terengganu UMNO State Liaison Committee chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Razif Abdul Rahman said the simulation would be held periodically until the exact date of the general election was announced.
“We are confident that our election machinery are well-prepared and ready to face GE14 anytime now following the structured work and strategies, as well as the District Polling Centre competition that was held recently,” he said.
Ahmad Razif, who is also the Terengganu Menteri Besar, was speaking at the
Terengganu-level UMNO Branches Group Conference which was officiated by Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi here today.
Also present were State Speaker Datuk Zubir Embong and Besut assemblyman Datuk Seri Idris Jusoh, who is also UMNO Supreme Council Member.
Ahmad Razif said all State UMNO leadership would work together in their bid to strengthen the three principles, namely occupation, housing and income (3P) in ensuring that the people of the state would continue to choose UMNO and Barisan Nasional (BN).
“Let us create a success story with this 3P together with me and UMNO leadership to repeat the history of UMNO victory in the past, at the same time to ensure that all state and parliamentary seats will be back to BN,” he added. – BERNAMA
