KUALA TERENGGANU – Terengganu Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Razif Abdul Rahman wants Muslims in the state to persevere during Ramadan.
He said Muslims should take the opportunity to keep themselves busy with various activities in mosques and suraus.
“In line with the second principle of New Terengganu Transformation (TBB), mosques and suraus are the source of unity to strengthen the spirit of solidarity as the thrust of success stories which are the pride of the people,” he said in a message in conjunction with the start of fasting during Ramadan tomorrow in his Facebook posting today.
Ahmad Razif told Muslims to use the holy month to train themselves as patient beings capable of settling all problems peacefully as required by the religion.
“Ramadan is said to be the month for Muslims to train themselves to be patient. Patience during fasting, patience in the belief in Allah SWT and patience in abstaining from deeds He forbids and patience in times of misfortunes,” he said. – BERNAMA
