KUALA LUMPUR – A 15-year-old boy who hit his mother, believed to be over pocket money, at their home in Ampang here yesterday, was not under the influence of drugs.
Ampang Jaya police chief, ACP Hamzah Alias said in a statement today that a urine test was conducted about 11pm after the teenager went to the district police headquarters with his mother to have their statements taken.
Hamzah said the 43-second video which showed the boy hitting his mother was taken by his sister who then gave the footage to their father.
“The 39-year-old man gave the recording to his son’s teacher with the intention to ask the teacher to advise him.
“The footage later went viral in the social media and the incident was criticised by the public,” he said. – BERNAMA
