KAJANG – A teenager who was abducted by two people while waiting for a van to go to school has been found, about seven hours later.
In the incident which occurred at about 7 am today, Nur Darleen Dazeera Azhar, 15, was reported to have been abducted by two people who were on a motorcycle while she was waiting for her school van in front of her house in Bandar Tun Hussein Onn here.
The girl was found near a supermarket about three kilometres from her house and was then sent home at about 2.20 pm.
It is learnt that the abductors left Nur Darleen Dazeera there after news on her abduction went viral on the social media.
The woman who found her, Juliana Jeffrey, 42, said she was returning home with a daughter after sending her son to school when she saw Nur Darleen Dazeera walking alone in the area.
“Nur Darleen Dazeera was walking alone and she was shocked when my daughter greeted her. We asked her to come into the car and then sent her home,” she said when met by reporters here.
She said Nur Darleen Dazeera cried all the way in the car.
“I knew about the missing Nur Darleen Dazeera when news on it went viral on the social websites,” she added.
Meanwhile, Nur Darleen Dazeera’s uncle, Jalaluddin Md Zin, 50, said he was grateful that her niece had been found.
“Let the police investigate. Thank you to all for their assistance,” he added. – BERNAMA
