KUALA LUMPUR: Terengganu club, T-Team have strengthened their hold on the Premier League after overcoming UiTM FC 2-0 at Sultan Ismail Nasiruddin Shah Stadium in Kuala Terengganu, Friday night.
With the win, they continue to prevail at the top of the league table with 17 points from eight matches.
The two goals by the Titans were netted by import players, Farhod Tadjiyev in the 10th minute and Sadriddin Abdullaev in the 47th minute.
At Likas Stadium in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah went up one rung to the second spot after pipping Penang 1-0 with a solitary goal by Eamon Zayed in the 27th minute.
Over in the north, Kedah collected three points after defeating Negeri Sembilan’s NS Matrix 2-1 at Darul Aman Stadium.
Chidi Edeh put the host team one up in the 11th minute before Jean Marc Alexandre equalised for NS Matrix in the 75th minute.
Albania import, Liridon Krasniqi however assured Kedah of full points by completing the scoreline in the 82nd minute.
Pahang club, Kuantan FA recorded their second win of the season after beating SPA Putrajaya FC 1-0, from a penalty by their import player Milan Purovic in the dying minutes of the match at Darul Makmur Stadium.
