KUCHING – SUPP said voters can count on the party’s candidates in the upcoming state election to deliver on their promises and bring tangible benefits to communities that they serve.
SUPP, which is fielding 13 candidates under the Barisan Nasional banner in the May 7 state polls, said the party would not let down the voters once elected.
“Although SUPP did not do well in the last state election, SUPP is now different as there are many young and promising leaders who are people-oriented, reliable,” it said in a statement.
“The candidates will keep their promises and deliver tangible benefits to the people if voters give them the opportunity,” it added.
Among the candidates fielded by SUPP are lawyers, businessmen, engineers and full time politicians.
Meanwhile, SUPP central publicity secretary and election operation deputy director Adam Yii Siew Sang said the party’s manifesto for the election would be launched at its headquarters here tomorrow. – BERNAMA
