The goal came about when the Lions X11 defenders failed to check the movements of Zah Rahan Krangar, who passed the ball to Indra Putra and the ex-international beat goalkeeper Muhammad Izwan Mahbud.
Shocked by the early goal, the Lions roared into action and 10 minutes later pulled level via a free kick from midfielder, Zulfahmi Arifin before Muhammad Faris Ramli struck the winner on the stroke of half-time (45th min) to give his team all three points.
