KUALA LUMPUR – The Malaysian Meteorological Department on Sunday issued a warning that the storm over the waters off Perak and Selangor is expected to continue until this afternoon.
A statement from the department said this condition could trigger strong winds up to 50 km per hour (km/h) and waves of up to 3.5 metres high which would be dangerous to small boats.
The thunderstorms occurring over waters off Melaka Straits were also expected to continue until this afternoon, it said.
