BAGAN DATOH – The Umno Supreme Council will meet this Wednesday (Dec 9) to decide whether or not to allow party deputy president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin and vice-president Datuk Seri Shafie Apdal to make their winding-up speech at the end of the party’s general assembly next week.
Umno vice-president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said Muhyiddin and Shafie would also be at the meeting.

He said the people should accept in good faith development carried out by the government, instead of criticising the government.
“We do not stop the people from criticising the government, but give constructive criticisms, not criticisms to undermine or insult,” he added.
In another development, Ahmad Zahid said he would help obtain the RM10 million needed to expand the Bagan Datoh jetty.
Various activities are held at the three-day carnival, including beach football, cooking demonstration, tradition games, and decorative boats. – BERNAMA
