KUALA LUMPUR – The traffic flow at all major highways is reportedly smooth and
under control as at 10 am today.
A spokesman at the Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM), when contacted by
Bernama, said traffic heading to the north and south on both directions was
under control with no report of congestion at any location so far.
A similar situation was reported on the East Coast Expressway, he added.
Meanwhile, a spokesman at the Plus Expressways Bhd Traffic Control Center
said the traffic flow on the North-South Expressway (Plus) from Kuala Lumpur
heading to Bukit Kayu Hitam was still under control although the number of
vehicles was slowly increasing.
“For the south-bound, traffic flow is smooth from Sungai Besi to Johor
Bahru, The number of vehicles is expected to increase in the afternoon,” he

At the Johor Causeway, vehicles were reported moving smoothly from Malaysia
to Singapore, but it was congested on the route from Singapore to Malaysia.
Traffic flow on the Malaysia-Singapore Second Lin is still smooth.
