KUALA LUMPUR – The traffic in several major highways leading to Kuala Lumpur is slow moving as at 6 pm today after the Hari Raya Aidilfitri holidays.
Malaysian Highway Authority spokesman said the traffic flow was slow at the North South (PLUS) Highway from the Menora Tunnel to Sungkai; Alor Setar to Gurun and Sungai Petani to Tikam Batu.
“Traffic is also slow from the direction of Perai to Jawi; Bukit Merah to Menora Tunnel; Ipoh to Gopeng; Tapah to Sungkai; Bukit Beruntung to Rawang and from Rawang Selatan heading to Sungai Buloh,” he said when contacted by Bernama here today.
He said the traffic flow was also slow at the East Coast Highway from Hentian Sebelah Lanchang to Bukit Tinggi; after the Gambang toll plaza; after the Gombak toll plaza from Karak toll plaza heading to Bentong.
