KUALA LUMPUR – Traffic flow at several stretches of major highways was reported to be moving slowly due to an increase in the volume of cars as at 4 pm today.
According to a PLUS Malaysia Berhad spokesman, vehicles were moving slowly from Sungai Petani Utara to Sungai Petani Selatan, the Tikam Batu lay-by to Bertam, Permatang Pauh to Seberang Jaya and Juru to Jawi.
“Traffic flow is also reportedly slow from Changkat Jering to Bukit Berapit, Kuala Kangsar to Jelapang, Ipoh to Sungkai and Bukit Beruntung to Rawang,” he said when contacted by Bernama here.
Traffic was also reported to be slow moving from Pedas Linggi lay-by to Port Dickson, Pagoh to Simpang Ampat and Sedenak to Kulai.
Meanwhile, a Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) spokesperson said the traffic flow from Karak to Bukit Tinggi was still moving slowly while the routes along the East Coast Expressway 1 and 2 was smooth moving.
