PUTRAJAYA – Singapore Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean, who is on a two-day working visit to Malaysia, called on Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak at his office in Perdana Putra here today.
After his call on the Prime Minister, Teo also paid a courtesy call to the Deputy Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi at his office.
A statement from the Deputy Prime Minister’s office said, during the courtesy call, both leaders discussed bilateral, regional and international issues of importance to Malaysia and Singapore.
“Among others, they discussed security issues such as radicalisation and terrorism,” the statement further said.
According to reports, Teo, who is also coordinating minister for national security, would be attending the opening ceremony of the International Conference on Blue Ocean Strategy at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) tomorrow. – BERNAMA
