KUALA LUMPUR: Seven new ambassadors received their credential letters from the Yang diPertuan Agong Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah at Istana Negara Monday.
Datuk Hasnudin Hamzah, who was Malaysia’s permanent representative to Asean in Jakarta, will be the new ambassador to Belgium.
He was previously the High Commissioner of Malaysia to New Zealand and ambassador to Jordan.
Datuk Raszlan Abdul Rashid will be the new ambassador to the Philippines. He was Malaysian ambassador to Cambodia from 2013 to 2016.
Other heads of mission who received their letters of credential are Datuk Mahinder Singh (Switzerland), Mohd Hassan Bal (Croatia), Muzafar Shah Mustafa (Venezuela), Roseli Abdul (Turkmenistan) and Abd Razak Abdul Wahab (Turkey).
