in Latest

SEREMBAN – The Seri Kemang Square in Port Dickson will be renamed Malaysian Armed Forces Veteran Square, said Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan.

He said the move would recognise Port Dickson as the City of Army and tourism destination.

Meanwhile, the construction quota of the Type A affordable homes priced at RM80,000 per unit would be raised from 15 per cent to 20 per cent.

Mohamad said the quota for Type B homes priced at below RM250,000 would be maintained at 15 per cent while Type C homes priced at below RM400,000 and below reduced to 15 per cent.

On another development, the state government was looking at establishing another Urban Transformation Centre (UTC) in Nilai and Rural Transformation Centre (RTC) in Bandar Baru Serting, Jempol.

This was due to the high population density in the areas, he told a press conference after chairing a meeting of the state executive council here today. – BERNAMA
