SEREMBAN – The public here have been invited to participate in the Vehicle-free Day programme organised by the Seremban Municipal Council (MPS) at City Park, Seremban 2 here, this Sunday.
MPS president Datuk Abd Halim Abd Latif said the programme would start at 7.30 am and end at 9.30 am.
“During this programme, participants can use bicycles, roller blades, skateboards, wheelchairs or simply jog leisurely and safely.
“Police and MPS enforcement personnel will be on hand to control traffic,” he told Bernama here today.
Abd Halim said the programme is open to all members of society in line with its recreational and family oriented nature.
“The programme is one of the best ways to educate the public on the importance of looking after their town and the environment. It will be regularly held on the second Sunday of every month at the same location,” he said.
