IPOH- It was a sea of fishes after a lorry that was ferrying the consignment met with an accident at Km266.3 northbound of the North South Expressway early this morning.
In the 1am incident, a Proton Waja was also involved after the driver could not break in time before crashing into the fish containers.
District traffic chief Deputy Superintendent Wan Sharuddin Wan Omar said no injuries were reported.
“Initial investigations showed the lorry driver had lost control of his vehicle before crashing and caused the 16 containers to land on the expressway,” he said.
The 28-year Proton Waja driver did not sustained any injuries although his car was badly damaged.
The debris and fishes were later removed by Plus and Propel personnel. – NST
