SHAH ALAM – Sadness showed on the face of Mohd Hasif Abdul Halim who lost his family in a drowning incident at Air Terjun Belukar Bukit, Hulu Terengganu, on Dec 19.

Previously, Mohd Hasif, nine, was schooling at Sekolah Rendah Islam Hira’, Batu Belah, Klang.
Dr Siti Sabariah said Mohd Hasif was sad because his father Abdul Halim Samian always accompanied him at the start of every new school session.
“However, I believe that Mohd Hasif is a strong boy and is capable of dealing with the problem,” she told reporters when met at the school today.
In the tragedy, his father Abdul Halim, 44, mother Nurul ‘Adilah alias Salaiwati Awang, 39, and sisters Nurul Arifah, 16, Nurul Hidayah Aina, 11, and Nurul Izah,10, drowned while swimming at Belukar Bukit waterfall in Hulu Terengganu.
