PUTRAJAYA – The Malaysian Embassy in Ankara has confirmed that the prime
minister’s wife, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor made an official visit to Istanbul in
May, at the invitation of Cambridge IF Analytica in conjunction with Global Good
Governance (3G) Awards 2016.
In a statement, the Malaysian Ambassador to Turkey, Datuk Amran Mohamed Zin
said Rosmah who arrived in Istanbul on May 25 (night) rushed back to Malaysia
shortly after 3G Council Awards ceremony was over on May 26 (night).
Amran said the event was organised by Istanbul in conjunction with the
Global Donors Forum and the World Humanitarian Summit.
“Rosmah delivered the keynote speech at 3G Awards ceremony and received the
3G Children Welfare Award for the success of the Permata programme which was
chosen globally as the award winner.
“As patron of the Permata programme, Rosmah was invited by the organisers to
receive the award. It is an international recognition of Permata’s contribution
to the growth of education and learning, psychology, intellectual and physique
of children,” he added.
Prior to 3G Awards ceremony, Rosmah met with Qatar Education Supreme Council
member and World Congress of Muslim Philanthropists (WCMP) board chairman, Dr
Sheikha Aisha bint Faleh bin Nasser Al-Thani and Cambridge IF Analytica leaders.
