ROMPIN – Rompin police have seized 1.8 kilogrammes of heroin worth about RM50,000 in a raid on a house at RPS Bukit Seruk, near here on Thursday.
Rompin District Police Chief DSP Muhammad Aidil Roneh Abdullah said four suspects were detained in the raid at 8.30 pm which was led by ASP Haryadi Kasah from the Rompin District Police headquarters.
“In the raid, two men and two women, aged between 16 and 35 years, were arrested with heroin weighing 1.84 kg.
“Police also seized a black laptop bag, a black Acer laptop, three empty transparent plastic packets of different sizes, two handphones and four motorcycles,” he told reporters here today.
Muhammad Aidil said one of the suspects tested positive for morphine.
He said the drugs seized were the biggest amount in the Rompin district this year involving heroin and were believed to have been brought in from Johor or Negeri Sembilan to be sold in the area around Felda Keratong and Muadzam Shah. – BERNAMA
