KUANTAN – Twenty-seven flood victims from six families sheltered at Balai Raya Kampung Rekoh in Rompin were still unable to return to their homes this morning as floodwaters at their village have yet to subside.
Pahang Civil Defence Force director Zainal Yusoff said the number comprised eight men, seven women, 10 children, a baby and a senior citizen.
In JOHOR BAHRU, Johor Health and Environment Committee chairman Datuk Ayub Rahmat in a statement said 126 flood victims involving 26 families were still at five shelters in Segamat as at 8am.
He said the Felda Redong-Felda Selancar road in the district was still closed to all vechiles due to a landslide. – BERNAMA
