KUALA LUMPUR – ROLLS-ROYCE Motor Cars Kuala Lumpur recently heralded in the arrival of its latest offering, the revised Ghost Series II. The model was presented in the brand’s new Quill Provenance Cars showroom located in Damansara by Rolls-Royce’s GM of sales, Asia Pacifi c, Sven Ritter, and Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Kuala Lumpur managing director Datuk Michael Ong.
The Ghost Series II’s arrival in Malaysia comes just eight months after its world debut at the Geneva Motor Show held earlier this year. Besides a subtle exterior facelift, the Ghost Series II has received major enhancements on board as well.
Highlights here include the model’s offer of new 21-inch wheels options, as well as the redesigned electric powered from seats on board. Also new in the cabin are chrome trimmings lining the clock and instrument binnacle.
Receiving an upgrade are the model’s array of high-tech amenities. Firstly, the infotainment unit’s voice command has been improved for better speech recognition, and it is complemented with its new touch sensitive Spirit of Ecstasy controller and an 18-speaker audio system. Next is the vehicle’s night vision system that can now detect animals as well besides pedestrians.
Retained from the Ghost’s previous iteration is the power train package. Propelling the car’s 2,470kg kerb weight is a 6.6-litre twin-turbocharged V12 petrol.
