PETALING JAYA – The Rolls-Royce Phantom made its debut in Malaysia today with a starting price of RM2.2 million.
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Kuala Lumpur Managing Director, Datuk Michael Ong, said the car had always been a sign of success and a symbol of authority in Malaysia.
“With its cutting-edge innovation and refurbished interior, the Phantom has been dubbed as the ‘Architecture of Luxury’”, he said during the launch at its showroom here today.
Meanwhile, Rolls-Royce said, the customers might customise the colour of their cars from a range of 44,000 exterior colours.
“They may also request personalised designs from the company’s team of Bespoke designers,” it said.
The price per unit starts from RM2.2 million for the Phantom Standard Wheelbase and RM2.5 million for the extended version, it said.
The latest version of the car marked the eighth edition of the Phantom series, which was first produced back in 1925.
The seventh edition, Phantom VII was launched 14 years ago. – BERNAMA
