PUTRAJAYA – The ‘Roda Mania 1.0’ Carnival created history when it was included in the Malaysia Book of Records (MBOR) Saturday for the largest gathering of motorcycles.
A total of 29,500 motorcycles from more than 200 motorcycle clubs throughout the country gathered at the parking lot of Water Sports Centre Complex in Precinct 6 here.
The two-day carnival, beginning today, jointly organised by the Federal Territories Ministry and Yayasan Perpaduan Ummah, was launched by Federal Territories Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor.
The certificate of recognition was presented by MBOR Chief Executive Officer Datuk Michael Tio to the ministry secretary-general Datuk Seri Adnan Md Ikshan.
Meanwhile, the ministry in a statement said the carnival also aimed at making it into the MBOR for the largest gathering of food trucks and national cars.
“We aim to gather 200 food trucks and 30,000 national cars,” it said. – BERNAMA
