SHAH ALAM – Newly appointed PKNS FC head coach Datuk K. Rajagobal has pledged to take the club to greater heights in the M-League next season.
The former National coach who signed a one year contract with PKNS which is based in Kelana Jaya, today said he would share his knowledge and expertise with the players to register a better result than last season when the Super League kicks off next season.
“This is a good time for me to come back and contribute my services to my former employer. When I was approached to take up the position, I immediately accepted without any hesitation because I have been the coach from 1990-1998.
“We have to be realistic when setting targets. PKNS had finished seventh in the Super League last season and my aim is to improve on that position. If possible we would like to emerge as a team that will be feared by opponents,” said Rajagobal at the PKNS office, here yesterday.
Speaking of his choice of players for next season, Rajagobal said he was still on the lookout for players but did not rule out the possibility of roping a number of young players.
