KUALA LUMPUR: Thirteen hours after Indonesia AirAsia flight QZ8501’s flight data recorder was retrieved, AirAsia group chief executive officer Tan Sri Tony Fernandes expressed his gratitude to all its customers for their support.
Tony in an email acknowledged how the past few weeks have been the most difficult since the start of AirAsiaâ€™s 13 years ago and assured customers that the company is committed in reviewing and improving its products and services.
â€œI wanted to reach out and thank you for the warmth and support given to all of us. Your messages of love and encouragement strengthen our resolve to be better.
â€œWe are more focused than ever to provide you with nothing but the best. Even in our toughest times, we will continue to be the world’s best and be better for you,â€ he said in an email.
Tony who concluded the email with #togetherwestand asked all its customers to pray for the family members who lost their loved ones in the crash.-NST
