KANGAR – The Raja Muda of Perlis, Tuanku Syed Putra Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail, has urged all Perlis Islamic agencies to implement new programmes and develop new initiatives in the effort to improve employees’ skills and productivity.
“I hope that with these measures, employees will be able to deliver their best service to the community and give their commitment to productivity in line with the goals of the organisation,” he said.
To be successful, it was critical for an organisation to have a quality and competent workforce with a high level of professionalism, said Tuanku Syed Faizuddin, who is also President of the Perlis Islamic Religious and Malay Customs Council (MAIPs), a MAIPs Service Award and Appreciation Ceremony here last night.
Also present at the ceremony were the Raja Puan Muda of Perlis, Tuanku Hajah Lailatul Shahreen Akashah Khalil, and State Religious Affairs and Human Resources Committee chairman Khairi Hassan.
Tuanku Syed Faizuddin presented the MAIPs Partner Collaboration Special Award to Malaysian Industrial Development Finance (MIDF) group managing director Datuk Mohd Najib Abdullah.
Former Perlis Islamic Religious Department director Mohammad Sokrio Husin received the ‘Jasamu Dikenang’ award while Basri Baharum received the Special Long Service award. – BERNAMA
