BESUT – The police are working with the relevant agencies to monitor a ‘wild’ party scheduled to be held at Pulau Perhentian near here, today and tomorrow.
District police chief Supt Khaled Che Lah said five police reports had been lodged by, among others, Besut UMNO Youth and Puteri UMNO, in protest against the ‘Full Moon Beach Party’.
“If the party proceeds, action will be taken against the relevant parties,” he told Bernama.
The ‘wild’ party, expected to be held at Long Beach, Pulau Perhentian, is said to have received overwhelming response by youth, including Muslims.
Khaled said none of the resort owners was aware of such a party. – BERNAMA
