SEREMBAN – A total 150 summonses were issued by the Seremban police involving various traffic offences in an operation in conjunction with the new year which was held at eight locations in the district at midnight.
Seremban District Police chief ACP Thiew Hock Poh said 14 people were detained during the operation for offences such as drug possession and drug abuse.
“In addition, summonses were also issued on four entertainment outlets in Seremban for operating beyond the permitted hours,” he said in a statement today.
A total 375 people were checked and 454 vehicles were inspected during the operation, Thiew added. – BERNAMA
