KUALA LUMPUR – The police have arrested two tertiary students for having allegedly uploaded on social media posters of a provocative nature protesting against the court system, Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said today.
The students, one from Universiti Selangor (Unisel) and the other from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) were held yesterday, he said in a post on his official Twitter account.
“@PDRMsia yesterday arrested two students, (from) Unisel and USM, for having uploaded these (posters). They will be held under remand,” he had tweeted. – BERNAMA
