SUNNYLANDS (California) – Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and Southeast Asian leaders Wednesday attended the final day of the US-ASEAN Summit hosted by President Barack Obama here.
At the meeting, the 10 ASEAN leaders and Obama were focused on protecting peace, prosperity and security in the Asia Pacific region.
Their discussion also included on counter-terrorism, transnational challenges and South China Sea issue.
Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Anifah Aman joined Najib during the discussion.
ASEAN groups comprised Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. – BERNAMA
