MUAR – Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak today went on a walkabout at Kampung Sentosa, an Orang Asli settlement here, and announced an allocation of RM20,000 to erect a floodlight at the village’s new futsal court for the convenience of the villagers.
In his brief speech, he said the construction of the futsal court was proof of the government’s concern and part of its initiatives to ensure that each community would be able to enjoy a better quality of life.
“The people here have always wanted a futsal court, so we built one for them. And now, they will also have a floodlight for the court,” he said after spending 30 minutes mingling with the residents at the village.
Also present were Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin and Bukit Serampang assemblyman Ismail Mohamed. – BERNAMA
