BOGOTA -A small plane has crashed in Colombia killing five people and setting a bakery on fire, authorities said.
The plane crashed into a residential area of Bogota three minutes after taking off from the Colombian capital’s airport.
The pilot and his three passengers died.
One person was killed inside the bakery and seven others suffered burns, including a 12-year-old girl, officials said.
Two of those taken to hospital were reported to be in a critical condition.
It was flying to the town of Guaymaral, 12 miles from Bogota.
It is the third crash of a small plane in Bogota in three months.
Three people were killed in August when an aircraft crashed in the Cajica area, and three more died in October when a plane smashed on to a highway. – BERNAMA
