GEORGE TOWN – The opposition pact Pakatan Harapan today announced its leadership line up for Penang.
The chairman is Penang Chief Minister and DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng with the 11-strong council having five representatives from DAP.
Guan Eng revealed the names at a press conference here today.
The council has four deputy chairmen namely state PKR chairman Datuk Mansor Othman, state DAP chairman Chow Kon Yeow, state Parti Amanah Negara chairman Datuk Mujahid Yusuf and state PPBM chairman Marzuki Yahya.
The secretary is the chief minister’s political secretary Wong Hon Wai (DAP) while Penang state executive councillor Jagdeep Singh Deo (DAP) is the treasurer. Dr Afif Bahardin (PKR) is the information chief.
Chow, who is also a state executive councillor, has also been named as the chairman of the manifesto committee while Sungai Pinang assemblyman Lim Siew Khim (DAP) heads the women’s wing. – BERNAMA
