SHAH ALAM – Raja Permaisuri Agong Tuanku Hajah Haminah is proud with the achievement by the Management and Science University (MSU) for successfully educating and improving graduates’ employability which is the core to the country’s development and society.
Tuanku Hajah Haminah, who is also MSU Chancellor, said she felt happy as MSU had placed excellence culture as its foundation in developing the university.
“I can see MSU’s determination in which (all aspects in) its studies are applied in all courses (it offerred). MSU has emphasised on ethics value and moral; entrepreneurial skills; and critical thinking across its curruculum.
“MSU’s efforts are in line with (its) aspiration to produce a more balanced graduates with the best academic results, enterprising and possess soft skills,” she said in her speech when officiating the university’s 19th convocation ceremony here today.
Also present was MSU pro-chancellor Tan Sri Dr Wan Mohd Zahid Mohd Noordin and president Prof Tan Sri Dr Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid.
Tuanku Hajah Haminah, who was conferred an honorary Doctor of Philosophy in Social Work by MSU, also reminded the graduates to be more responsible for self, family, society and country.
A total of 1,719 graduates received their degree and diploma at the two-day convocation which began today.
The convocation also saw five special awards to 53 excellent graduates to recognise their achievements in their respective fields. – BERNAMA
