LUMUT – Perak Barisan Nasional (BN) has not paid any party or independent think tanks to give a rosy picture about it ahead of the 14th General Election, said Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir.
Zambry, who is also also Perak BN chairman and state UMNO chief, said he was interested in comments and analyses that were objective.
“If we only listened to stories about how great we are, we will be lulled into complacency. We must be on our toes all the time,” he told reporters after opening the Pangkor Education Carnival 2018 here today.
He said all inputs received would help guide the coalition to ensure Perak remains in the hands of Barisan Nasional.
He was commenting on studies by a few independent bodies that the opposition would not be able to wrest Perak from BN in GE14. which must be called by August this year. – BERNAMA
