KOTA KINABALU – Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) is confident that all its candidates in the coming 14th general election (GE14) will win regardless of where they are fielded.
Its acting president, Datuk Seri Dr Maximus Ongkili said PBS was a multiracial party and would defeat the opposition in any seat it contested, ensuring victory for Barisan Nasional (BN) in the general election.
“PBS will also work hard to defend all 13 seats allocated to it,” he told reporters after officiating at the Sabah Electricity Supply Open Day, here, today.
The one-day event organised by the Energy, Green Technology and Water Ministry was aimed at explaining to all parties and give the actual picture, especially to the people of Sabah, of the issues and challenges faced in providing quality electricity supply in the state.
Ongkili also expressed his wish to return to his hometown Tambunan to represent the party for the state seat, while at the same time ensuring the Kota Marudu parliamentary seat which he currently holds will remain with the party. – BERNAMA
