Pandelela Bags Bronze Medal In Windsor

KUALA LUMPUR – National diving queen, Pandelela Rinong won a bronze medal in the women’s 10m platform World Series diving championship 2015 in Windsor, Canada.

According to the website, Pandelela started with a good jump collecting 371.25 points overall to win the medal, early today.

She also displayed consistency recording 76.50 points on the first jump and maintaining momentum with 73.95 points on the second jump, 76.80 points (third) and 72.00 points on the fourth and fifth jump.

The gold medal for the event was grabbed by a diver from China, Ren Qian after collecting 429.35 points while her teammate Si Jayie won the silver medal with 51.45 points difference.

The World Series also saw bland performance by divers, Cheong Jun Hoong in the women’s 3m springboard and Jun Hoong paired with Lee Mun Yee in the women’s 10m synchro platform ended up in the bottom position. – BERNAMA
