KUALA LUMPUR – The Public Accounts Committee’s hearing of the 1Malaysia Development Berhad case, originally scheduled for this month, has been postponed to dates to be determined later.
1MDB said in a statement today that it had received an official notification from the PAC secretary Datuk Roosme Hamzah, who is also Dewan Rakyat Secretary, through the Finance Ministry.
It said the PAC hearing had been scheduled for Aug 4,5,6,17 and 18 as well as Sept 8 and 10.
“We once again reiterate our intention to extend our full cooperation to the PAC and look forward to appearing before the committee on the new dates,” the statement said.
1MDB said that it respected the PAC as the lawful authority and the appropriate forum for questions on 1MDB to be asked and answered. – BERNAMA
